Great news to all you extreme snow riders out there, Jowood Productions has just announced that the official site for the upcoming Coldwood-developed game Freak Out Extreme Freeride (PSP Porn, PC) is now up and running.

You can now check out the latest news and updates on the game as well as the latest game goodies available for download. For those who have never heard of the game before, the site also has a section which gives visitors a primer on the game’s storyline. In addition to that, the site also introduces you to the playable characters (and their unique skiing tricks) in the game: Ben Taylor, Jonas Vik, Martin Ecke, Elena Linna, Angelina Bradley, and Helena Fjallryd.

If you check out the site now, you’ll see that they already have the game’s trailer and screenshots posted there AND you can also listen to the soundtrack, with songs from great bands like 3 Feet Smaller, Alone and Acoustic, Alien 101, Jellybeat, and Point Leonard. The features in this latest (and now bug-free) release include the following:

• Opcodes coloring
• Click on jump to see its reference
• Right click on multi reference to see a popup menu and jump to it
• Sections, strings, subroutines tables

This application requires framework 1.1. As expected from a beta release, Greed777 is still planning to add more features to the GUI, including adding a hex editor to the view (”so that patches can be made”) and an Import/Export table.

After its playable demo during the recent Jump Festa in Japan, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is getting more and more fans (both old and new FF-fans alike) ecstatic. The demo has two playable modes, one involving an invasion of Wutai - that’s Yuffie’s hometown - and another that involves a battle with Ifrit.

Speaking of combat, this Square Enix title is an action-RPG and will be far different from the turn-based battles of the original FFVII. Kind of like a real-time active-time sort of deal involving using up Action Points and a random Slot system.

While this scan is in Japanese, you don’t need to understand the text just to get all excited. It’s a scan from “V-Jump” and has some stills of cinematics (which we’ve seen before) and a couple of new gameplay screenshots thrown in… curiouser and curiouser…

The Japanese release this Spring isn’t too far off, but what most of us wonder is when it’ll come over to our side of the world. Don’t worry, we’ll get more info on this soon enough. Keep the materia in your pocket and watch this space!

In an article over at Kotaku, Luke Plunkett talks about the survey, citing one particular question - “Would you buy another PSP Porn system if it included a hard drive and/or video out?” - as the most telling. What really piqued his curiosity is that the HDD add-on is mentioned twice in the survey.

So, what do you guys think? Just to be safe, we’re looking at this like PSP Porn-Users-Want-TV/pg/49/aid/61088″>that poll ITMedia conducted to see what PSP Porn accessory the Japanese public would like to see most.
