FuSa screenShoot! v1.1: now lets you assign button combos, screenshot save path

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

PSP homebrew - Image 1If you’ve been using Andy_maN’s FuSa screenShoot! plugin, take heed. There’s a new version out, placing the plugin squarely at version 1.1. Here’s the changelog for this update:

  • You can assign your own button or buttons combo with help of ConfiguratoR (Win32 version included in this package)
  • You can adjust your own PATH to save scrshts
  • Picture will be saved in the “PICTURE” folder

While there’s a myriad of choices out there when it comes to screenshot plugins, what makes FuSa screenShoot! different is that it takes a “real >screen” picture, making it compatible with OldPrisoner and Andy_maN’s FuSa homebrew app.

You can grab the latest version of FuSa screenShoot! below. Be sure to read the bundled readme file for installation and usage instructions.

Batgirl playable in LEGO Batman: The Videogame

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

Batgirl in LEGO Batman - Image 1Who else will be playable in Warner Bros. Interactive’s oober multiplatformer Lego Batman: The Videogame (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii, DS, PC)? Why, Batgirl of course!

Okay, so she may not hold as much qualifications as, say the Penguin or Joker. She is, after all, but the daughter of Commissioner Gordon in costume. BUT. She does have access to all of the caped crusader’s gadgets.

How’d she get in his top secret closet? We don’t really know. What matters is she can borrow stuff from Batman, and that makes her more than just qualified in our books for her to be playable.

> Now here’s hoping she can use the gadgets properly and not crash the bat mobile on the sidewalk as she attempts to parallel park.

Despertar del Cementario v7 - IDStorage regeneration

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

Despertar del Cementerio v7 - Image 1

>It’s here guys! Dark_AleX’ latest update to his Despertar del Cementerio “Universal Bricker” has arrived, upping it to version 7. This one carries with it the ability to fully regenerate the IDStorage.

This is really great news, because we know how much of a hassle it is to have the IDStorage wiped out. With this version, if your IDStorage on your PSP gets fully wiped out or contains corrupt keys you will be able to recover it.

There’s also other cool things made available to you in DC7. For one, a format flash function has been added to the menu. And as with its previous releases, DC7 is compatible with a Pandora battery to restore and install custom firmware 4.01 M33-2 on the PSP. However, do note that newer models of Sony’s handheld housing a TA-088 v3 motherboard still remain unsupported.

For those who already have the previous version of Despertar del Cementerio on your memsticks, you only have to copy the DC7 folder to PSP/GAME and launch the application from within the game menu.

Full installation instructions are at the readme file, so make sure to go through that thoroughly. And as always, do exercise caution when installing homebrews in your PSPs, especially for the new ones out there who have just been introduced to the wonder world of homebrew community.

Thanks to jj_ob for the tip!
